He walks with heavy steps

Today, we looked around and realized that Moose was not near us. We fell quiet to hear the loud thumping of footsteps upstairs! I can't even hear Brad when he walks upstairs, but the sounds of Moose pacing the floor were unmistakable!

Brad and I also planted our indoor garden the other day, and were happy to see that it was doing great!

Finally, we worked on the Beast! We finished the rock rails on each side of her. One step closer to four wheeling!! (Pictures coming soon!)

Here is the video some of you were wanting to see... The lighting is a little low, but it is proof that Moose does more than just sleep! Thank you Grandma for the toy!! He loves it!

It's been 6 days...

We got Moose (Mr. Moose if you are feeling polite) 6 days ago today. When he first got home all he did was sleep. We wondered if we had made a mistake. We couldn't get him to do ANYTHING! I mean, we wanted a lazy dog, but had we gone too far?

Well... 6 days later Moose is feeling right at home. We actually have to keep him from being overly active. We hear his bones are growing so fast that we need to really baby him in how much activity he gets.

He's learned how to navigate stairs. So we're having to limit that. He's learned that the house is his, but he's not learned that my socks are not.

House training is going well. He's 13 weeks and 35 pounds. He looks like a full size dog, but he's just a puppy.

He is great with people and mostly good with other animals (sometimes he gets a little scared and has to collect himself). Overall, life with Moose is good. He loves the Beast (our Jeep Rubicon) but has yet to have a Big Red (our Jeep CJ7) experience. I have confidence though... Moose is a Jeep Dog!

Welcome to the family Moose!
